Making Apprenticeships Work for your Construction Business

November 6 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Make Apprenticeships work for your construction sector business:

Sponsoring an Apprentice makes sense for your business in the construction sector. You will gain a highly skilled employee with both the academic qualifications and the relevant practical skills that will enhance your workforce. By working for your company, an Apprentice will develop an in-depth understanding of the sector and your business, bringing a fresh perspective and up-to-date knowledge to their job.

The session

This hour session will give you the opportunity to ask the questions mattered most about apprenticeships. It will be subject specific, based on construction programmes.

Our panel of expert speakers will be able to provide you with their own first hand experiences of working with apprenticeships, expelling the common myths and discussing their journeys of engaging with and making the most out of apprenticeships.

We will be able to provide you with the latest information on how to get involved, providers of apprenticeship training in the Liverpool City Region, the funding available and insight into the latest City Region priorities for supporting skills in the construction sector.

The format of the event will be a question and answer session.

We will circulate a link to the meeting to those who have registered a few days in advance. If you would like any further information in advance of the session, please contact Abi Lewis, a.h.lewis@ljmu.ac.uk.
