Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs): The potential for growth within your business

7 September, 2015 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

We would like to invite you to come along and have breakfast with Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) on 7th September, while finding out more about Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) and the potential for growth within your business.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) are the leading knowledge transfer programme in Europe and consist of projects part-funded by the government to strengthen and develop UK businesses by promoting growth in innovation, capacity and capability. Companies partner with a UK university to develop inventive, strategic and commercial ideas, with a recent graduate recruited to manage the project.

LJMU has been running KTPs since 1979, and we have a number of award-winning projects under our belt. We can help you learn how to get involved in this innovative and profitable scheme.

 As a result of government money invested in KTP in 2013 to 2014, UK businesses stand to benefit by:

  • Changes in anticipated annual profits of £211 million
  • Employment of over 450 new staff
  • Increases of £207 million in annual exports
  • Investments of £95 million in plant and machinery / research and development

To find out more from experienced business people whose companies have benefitted from KTPs and talk to friendly and knowledgeable LJMU staff about how to develop your own project, come along to Liverpool Science Park for our breakfast event at 8.30-10am on 7th September 2015.

You can register your attendance on Event Brite here;
